Clint Stonebraker has worked as a substance abuse counselor, a counselor trainer and a consultant for other treatment programs for twenty-one years. Clint is certified as a substance abuse counselor in Georgia and North Carolina and is licensed as a substance abuse counselor in Arizona. Clint is also certified as a clinical supervisor in Georgia and North Carolina.
Clint’s professional career as a substance abuse counselor began in 1987 when he was only eighteen years old. As he discovered his love for working with struggling youth and their families, he sought training specific to adolescent substance abuse counseling through John Cates and Associates in Dallas, Texas. Clint received his first certification in 1993 in Georgia. Clint also served on the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling Board of Georgia.
Clint has worked with thousands of families over the years through individual, group, and family counseling. The success rate for adolescents who have completed programs that Clint operates is almost twice as high as the industry standard. Alumni from these programs have gone on to successful lives in a number of fields including the medical field, law enforcement, and counseling to name a few. Clint is proud of the fact that his work has helped so many young people find new hope in their lives.
Clint recently completed Connected: The Art of Building Relationships, a revised and updated version of Relationships for the Intimately Challenged. He also conducts workshops and seminars on a wide variety of topics.
